[Odd] Weight loss causes airport security problem
Latest Updated by 2006-09-05 09:42:21

A man surnamed Huang who lost more than 35 kilograms within a year almost missed a plane on Sunday (Sep 3) morning because he did not look like the picture on his identity card.

The incident took place in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on Sunday morning. Huang was stopped by security guards while he was passing security check to take a flight to Shanghai.

The picture of Huang's identity card indicated he was a fat man, but Huang looked very slim.

Huang, 30, was finally allowed to board after more than an hour spent checking his identity card.
