Featuring Asian foods, culture, performances, a beer festival, story sharing, and forums, the Asian Cuisine Festival (ACF) is to be held in Guangzhou between May 16th and 23rd, 2019.
According to Zhu Xiaoyi, Deputy Director-General of Guangzhou’s Publicity Department, this year’s ACF on the theme of ‘Enjoying Asian Cuisine and Savoring the Taste of the Flower City’ will include 42 activities and be held mainly at the LN Garden Hotel, Haixinsha Park, International Media Harbor, and Party Pier.
Mr. Peng Lin, representative of the organizing committee of the ACF, said a Cuisine Culture Corridor along the Pearl River will be a key feature of the festival, highlighting renowned restaurants along the bank and 15 floating restaurants which will form the ACF dinner cruise.

The World Cuisine Collection to be held at the Haixinsha Park during May 16th and 23rd will give you a chance to savour China’s eight famous cuisines, authentic food from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, special delicacies from both other Asian countries and other nations around the world.
We can also look forward to the ‘Host Country Day’ event to be held each day during the festival. Asian consulates in Guangzhou will participate in these one-day events to display their national cuisine and stage performances.
The Asian Cuisine Festival is part of the ‘Conference of Dialogue among Asian Civilizations’ which will be held in Beijing from May 15th to 22nd, with the theme of ‘Exchange and Mutual Learning among Asian Civilizations and Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind’. Chengdu in Sichuan province and Hangzhou in Zhejiang province will be co-organizing the cuisine festival alongside Guangzhou.
