The one-way toll to cross the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge ((HZMB) was announced yesterday (March 23rd). For small vehicles (mini buses, private cars and taxis) the one-way fare is 150 RMB, for coaches 200 RMB, for shuttle buses 300 RMB, for trucks 60 RMB and for container trucks 115 RMB.

In late September, the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Line will open. 28 ticket counters in the West Kowloon terminal in Hong Kong will accept WeChat and Alipay, according to the spokesperson for the Hong Kong Railway Group. Ticket machines are not yet providing this service, however.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, or Greater Bay Area in short, is in the process of becoming one of the world’s most dynamic areas. From August 20th to 24th, around 30 media organizations from home and abroad were invited to experience the recent progresses in the construction of the greater bay area, mainly in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao, the five pivotal cities of the region.

On August 19th, Guangdong’s leading group on the construction of the Greater Bay Area held a meeting aiming to implement the Central Committee’s Decisions on the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and plan Guangdong’s action.
