This year marks the 60th anniversary of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. To commemorate the event, the Guangdong Tourism Administration and other related departments will work to together to organize and promote the first military base tour on Sept. 18.

On that day, the military camp in the Huadu district of Guangzhou will open to tourists. Tourists can enjoy a National Flag raising ceremony, military physical exercises, and have a close look at tanks, cannons and modern military equipment. The organizers also will arrange a dinner for tourists that will allow them to interact with soldiers. There are 918 tickets available for this commemorative tour, which will focus on the first Japanese invasion on Sept. 18, 1931.
