Jane Brownlee, violinist of Wongawilli, a popular musical band from Australia, hugs a perfomer dressed as a koala at the South China Movie City in Shenzhen yesterday at the opening of the Waratah Australian Film Festival, part of the Second China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair (ICIF).

The film festival will run until May 22 with seven Australian films being screened at the cinema. Wongawilli will perform Australian folk music at the Australian pavilion at the ICIF.
