According to Chairman and CEO of Reed Exhibitions Mike Rusbridge Reed Exhibitions will join hands with Canton Fair organizer to explore cooperation possibilities.

UK-based Reed Exhibitions is the world's largest exhibition organizer and the comments were made yesterday (Oct. 19) by after Rusberidge's visit to the Canton Fair. Rusbridge said that that he is impressed by the fair's world-class scale and facilities.

He believes the name change of the Canton Fair, newly named as Chinese Export and Import Commodities Fair, beckons cooperation opportunities for Read Exhibitions. The ongoing Canton Fair has recorded a high transaction volume in the first 3 days.

As of Oct. 17, over 8.2 billion USD worth of trade have been achieved, up nearly 11% over the same period of last session. As of yesterday, over 100,000 visitors have attended the fair, over 3.5% higher than last session.
