A plan to strengthen Cooperation between Sichuan and Guangdong was released yesterday afternoon (July 26), which aims at strengthening economic cooperation between the two provinces in 6 specific areas.
Those areas include market development, enhancing bilateral industries, resource exploitation, capitol restructuring, technology research, and modernizing the circulation service industry.
The Sichuan province currently receives more investment from Guangdong than any other Western province. Guangdong invested 4.5 billion yuan in Sichuan last year.
