The second Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Cooperation and Development Forum will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan province from July 25 to 28.

Leaders of the '9+2' provinces and regions will attend the forum to strengthen cooperation and enhance overall competitiveness of the Pan-PRD region.

Governors, Chairman or Chief Executives of the '9+2' provinces and regions will attend a joint conference after the opening ceremony on July 25. They will make a blueprint and give some advises for the Pan- PRD cooperation during the '11th five-year plan' (2006-2010).

Several business and culture fairs will also held in Chengdu during these three days.

The People's Governments of Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan Provinces/Regions, and the Governments of the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao jointly organized the forum. And the first forum was opened in Hong Kong on June 1st, 2004.
