Tang Bingquan, Executive Vice Governor of Guangdong Province presents a gift to Donald Tsang, new Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR.
A Guangdong-Hong Kong business fair for trade and culture cooperation kicked off in Hong Kong yesterday (July 7th). During the fair, Tang Bingquan, Executive Vice Governor of Guangdong Province met with Donald Tsang, new Chief Executive of Hong Kong. Both expressed that the Guangdong-Hong Kong and PPRD cooperation will continue to advance.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the projects of Hengqin (Zhuhai) economic Zone, HK-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and border checkpoints cooperation. Guangdong offers more business opportunities
A seminar on Guangzhou's Trade & Investment Opportunities was held in Hong Kong yesterday.
Many Hong Kong businessmen attended the Seminar in a bid to seize the opportunities generated by Guangzhou's rearrangement of district layout and the 2010 Asiad Games in this capital of Guangdong.
PPRD
PPRD cooperation has Hong Kong, Macao and Guangdong (Greater PRD/GPRD) as its core. It stared in 2004, following the signing of the PPRD Regional Cooperation Framework Agreement.
Pan-Pearl River Delta (PPRD) is also called "9+2". The provinces/regions includes Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan together with Hong Kong Special Administration Region and Macao Special Administration Region.
