Veteran paddler Wang Nan has finally grabbed a clean sweep at the table tennis World Team Championship in Bremen, Germany.
The former world number one got off to a slow start, trailing 3-0 in her first set against her young Romanian rival. However, the more experienced paddler outlasted her opponent with versatile attacks finishing the set 11-6.
Wang was trailing again in the second set and once again her veteran experience showed as she scored seven points in a row to win the set 11-7.
She kept her advantage in the third set, overpowered her young rival 11-2.
It's Wang Nan's first clean sweep at the tournament.
Earlier, reigning world number one Zhang Yining and another Chinese paddler Guo Yue have both whitewashed their opponents to give China a 3-0 victory over Romania.
With the win, China has secured its leading position in the group.
