Tennis: Moya Out of Mexican Open

Defending champion Carlos Moya has been upset by 28th-seeded Mariano Puerta in the second round of the Mexican Open.   

Argentine Puerta lost the first set 6-4, but then came back to beat the Spaniard 6-3, 6-4.

Puerta knocked out top seed Moya for the second successive tournament this year.

He defeated Moya a 7-6, 6-3 in the quarter-finals of the Buenos Aires Open two weeks ago.

Puerta will meet Felix Mantilla in the quarter-finals, who upset fellow Spaniard David Ferrer 7-5, 6-2.
