A performer dressed as an ancient vendor greets visitors at the Spring Festival Temple Fair, which opened at the Shenzhen Children's Palace in Futian District on Sunday.

The 10-day fair will display folk culture, featuring peep shows, sugar dolls, Sichuan Opera rapid face changes and a puppet show from the Tang Dynasty (618-907), among other activities.
