The horror movie "Disturbia" topped the box office in the Unite States this weekend, according to preliminary figures released Sunday.

The movie, about a teenager convinced his neighbor is a serial killer, raked in an estimated 23 million dollars, according to Encino-based box office tracker Media by Numbers.

"Blades of Glory," an ice skating romp from Paramount, grossed about 14 million, bringing the cumulative take to 90.2 million, according to Media by Numbers.

In third place was the computer-animated family film, "Meet The Robinsons," which brought in 12.1 million in ticket sales.

The Halle Berry thriller "Perfect Stranger" opened in fourth place, grossing about 11.5 million.

Sony's family comedy starring Ice Cube, "Are We Done Yet?," the sequel to "Are We There Yet?" pulled in 9.2 million and became the fifth biggest money maker of the weekend.

Rounding out the top 12 were "Pathfinder" (4.8 million); "Wild Hogs" (4.64 million); "The Reaping" (4.6 million); "300" (4.3 million); "Grindhouse" (4.2 million); "Redline" (4 million); and "Shooter" (3.1 million).

The 12 top-grossing films generated about 99.6 million, down 9.4 percent from the 109.9 million grossed by the 12 top movies during the same weekend last year.
