A Beijing newspaper Tuesday said China Central Television (CCTV) plans to air the popular American TV series to domestic audiences this year, and translation and dubbing work are expected to be completed in June.

No details were revealed on whether the original would be edited or adapted for Chinese audiences.
Another American TV series, "Desperate Housewives," was aired on CCTV in 2005. However, many people complained the edited version was difficult to understand.
