A Hollywood movie stunt show made its Chinese debut in Shanghai on Sunday, recreating breathtaking stunt action once shown on Hollywood blockbusters such as "Spiderman" and "007" series.
The show, presented by stunt actors from Filmka Co., will be brought to other Chinese cities including Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the next two years, according to the company organizers.
"We hope to bring the Chinese audience a genuine feel of shooting scenes of Hollywood movies by watching the live show of the stunts," said Antonin Hausknecht, head of the stunt team, who stood in for the dangerous parts of Sean Connery's role as James Bond.
In the two-hour show, the actors played a repertoire of 40 movie stunts to the sound of the original movie music.
