Hollywood star Tom Cruise has been voted the most annoying person of 2005, only a week after he was named most irritating in a British magazine poll.
Website AmIAnnoying.com compiles an annual chart from celebrities and groups, and found the majority of 10 million online voters couldn't stand Cruise, following his high-profile relationship with Katie Holmes.
Last week, "the War of the Worlds" star was voted most irritating by 10,000 readers of British magazine Empire, for his testy interview with Matt Lauer on NBC's "Today" show, and his constant expressions of love for his fiancee.
Tom Cruise is like fingernails on the chalkboard to a lot of people in Britain. While Cruise may annoy them off camera, however, they still like his movies. They named him the greatest movie star of all time.
