Guangzhou Metro Line 4 (Xinzao to Huangge Segment)

Guangzhou Metro Line 4 (Xinzao to Huangge Segment) is expected to put into service by the end of December. The new segment is elevated line and the construction has almost been completed.

Four of the stations are in Panyu district, and the other two are in Huangsha district. "The layout of the stations is in considering of Guanghzou's long-term development, and will connect the athlete village with the main event venues during the 2010 Asian Games," said Liu Dongwu, a engineer of Guangzhou Metro Co.

Metro line 3 and Line 4 (Xinzao to Huangge Segment) is scheduled to open to traffic on Dec. 30, when Guangzhou's metro network will first break the 100-km mark by reaching 116 kilometers.
