Guangdong, the pioneer of China's opening-up, would not be so prosperous today without Deng Xiaoping. To commemorate the late great leader, Guangdong government input 4 million yuan to build a Guangdong-style garden near Deng's former residence in his hometown, Xiexing town, Guang'an city of Sichuan province.
