No Survivor has been found around the wreckage of Kenya Airway's Boeing 737-800 which crashed on Saturday near Douala, economic capital of Cameroon, army sources who took part in the rescue work said on Monday.
Earlier the day, governor of Litorral province told French international radio that the plane "is totally destroyed" and "there are few chances of finding the survivors."
According to a government statement issued Sunday night, the wreckage of the plane had been found around a village named Mbangabongo in the third district of Douala, capital of Litorral province.
Taking off at 00:05 Douala and due to arrive in Nairobi at 06:15 on Saturday, the Boeing 737-800 carrying 114 people lost contact with the Douala airport a few minutes after its departure.
According to reliable sources, the plane crashed just after its departure from Douala where the storm was quite rampant.
