Iraqi President Jalal Talabani has left for Jordan for medical tests after falling sick, the pan-Arabal-Jazeera TV channel reported on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the president's office said in a brief statement that 73-year-old Talabani had been sick, and there was no reason to worry.
Talabani has been transferred to Jordan for medical treatment, the statement said.
