The death toll from the massive tsunamis triggered by an 8.7-magnitude earthquake in Indonesia on Sunday has risen to over 80,000. Following are the figures reported from some disaster-hit countries:

Thailand 1,800

Malaysia 65

Myanmar 90

Maldives 55

Somalia 100

The numbers are based on local official and media reports as of 1930 GMT Wednesday and they are subject to updating.
