The Fifth Session of the Tenth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) began its closing meeting in Beijing on Thursday.

President Hu Jintao and other top leaders were among more than 2,000 members of the highest advisory body of China.

A political resolution is expected to be adopted at the meeting,presided over by Jia Qinglin, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.
