
A 3.25-kg male child born to HIV infected mother will be detected if he was HIV positive when he is one and a half years old.
The Child was born in the Eighth People' s Hospital of Guangzhou yesterday.
The mother didn't know she have contracted HIV when she was pregnant. She drop into desperation after she know that, but experts said the rate of HIV infection in children occurs through mother to child transmission could be reduced to 2% by using medicine.
It is reported that she was infected by former husband, however, her current husband always smothers her with kindness.
