The Fourth Session of the 10th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress raises curtain on February 22 in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province.
"All people in Guangdong should benefit from Guangdong's development" were Secretary of Guangdong CPC Committee Zhang Dejiang's remarks during the ongoing Guangdong Provincial People's Congress yesterday (February 22, 2006).
He said that, during the 10th Five Year Plan period, the income of Guangdong people has increased and their quality of life has risen, which is the basic purpose of social development. Zhang stressed that more work should be done to improve employment, road construction, education and the medical system, which are closely related to people's daily life.
