Ho Hau-wah, Chief Executive of Macao SAR, gives address
Guests from Hong Kong, Macao and mainland express their expectation that PPRD will boost the multi-level cooperation in various aspects in their speeches in Macao today (Jun 2).
The Pan-Pearl River Delta (PPRD) Regional Cooperation and Development Forum is shifted to Macao today after many wonderful speeches were made yesterday.
A total of 9 guests invited from academe and enterprises deliver speech on the forum today.
With the CEPA opportunities and China-ASEAN free trade zone gradually shaping, Macao will take important place to the cooperation of PPRD, says Hoi Sai Iun, president, Macao General Association of Trade.
Macao will also benefit from cooperation of PPRD to push its tourism industry and gaming industry, says Chan Chak Mo, Macao Association of Catering industry.
The 9 provinces/regions and 2 SARs should set up coordinate mechanism to serve for economic cooperation, says Ieong Tou Hong, Deputy Director, Macao Polytechnic Institute.
The members should also enhance cooperation in the filed of science, education, and culture, says Liu Renhuai, President of Jinan University (Guangzhou).
