Trial Run for 1st Chinese-designed Tilting Trains

The first tilting train designed and made by chinese will set off its first trial run between Guangzhou and Maoming, a petrochemical city in western Guangdong, allegedly during the next half year, reports Guangzhou Daily.

According to train expert and head of the project Huang Zhongpu, the trainsmay be running at 160mph, shortenning the 5-hour-more trip to 3 hours 20 minutes.

The beautiful train is streamline designed with stainless steel body, containing 4 to 5 carriages inside. No pollution will be put on railway and its environment for the train collect excreta all the way.

There will be two trains on Guangzhou-Maoming railway running three rounds per day and offering comfortable "air service".
