Hong Kong retailer Mannings opens its first concept shop in Teemall, one of the most popular shopping malls in Guangzhou on Oct 9th. Mannings is the first sole Hong Kong-funded retail company entering Guangzhou market under CEPA.

It is reported that Mannings plans to set up 5 outlets in Guangzhou and Shenzhen this year, following with another 30 in the next 2-3 years.

Statistics show that investment in Guangzhou by service companies from Hong Kong with the aid of Guangzhou Administration and Service Center for Foreign Investors hits 87 million USD after CEPA's implementation started on Jan 1 this year.
