Based on a trial project launched April 28th at No 109 middle school, four major catering firms will prepare special lunches for students at 15 primary and secondary schools in Guangzhou. Officials of the Food Security Office said that this special project following on the Assured Breakfast Program, initiated by the Municipal Government will last through March 1st of next year.
The four firms, agreed to follow food hygiene and security guidelines and to accept hygiene regulations for food preparation for students in Guangzhou.
