Huge reward offered after 1m yuan goes missing in S. China

Police in south China's Guangdong Province are offering a 100,000 yuan (about US$12,887) award for information that leads to the arrest of a driver of an armored bank van, who stole more than one million yuan (US$128,867) when on duty.

Cai Hongjun, 32, who works for an armored bank van company in Dongguan city, is believed to have stolen the money on January 18 after picking up around one million yuan from the Dongguan branch of China Post.

Police found the vehicle abandoned in the downtown area of Dongguan City on the afternoon of January 18.
