Website for train ticket booking opens - Guangdong - News Brief

From December 26 to the 29, 8 offices will be set up in Guangzhou, Foshan, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Huizhou, Shantou and Zhongshan to handle the registrations of companies that plan to book group tickets.

Companies that have been involved in ticket speculation before will be disqualified from registration. Qualified companies can submit booking plans on-line at eticket.gzrail.com.cn, from January 2 to the 6.

The annual peak of the transportation season, also known as "Spring Rush", occurs before and after the Spring Festival when migrant workers travel back and forth from their hometowns.

The on-line booking system is expected to help companies reserve tickets for their migrant employees.
