Doctors in Guangzhou have discovered that a man's hair dye is the cause of his 4-year-old son's asthma.
The young father, Chen, told doctors at the No 2 Hospital affiliated to Sun Yatsen University that his son had suffered from asthma and coughing for some time and despite frequent medical check-ups, his condition never improved.
Doctors examined the boy and questioned his father.
They concluded that the boy's asthma is the result of being in close contact with his father, who frequently dyes his hair the boy breathes in toxic chemicals from Chen's hair dye.
