The Asian Games Village project, a major project of 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, has entered the planning stage. In order to build a high-level village and to provide scientific guidance for the construction of stadiums and nearby areas, the design competition for 2010 Asian Games Village opens today.
The final winner will receive a prize of RMB one million (including tax) .
The competition includes: design for the sub-districts of the New Town (30 square kilometers); design for Asian Games Village (2.73 square kilometers), including the plan map, spatial layout, landscape, pipeline arrangement and descriptions.
