Universiade Center designed choice narrows - Guangdong - News Brief

A computer-generated simulation of one of the two designs for the Universiade Center, the main venue for the 2011 Universiade that Shenzhen is currently bidding to host.

The two designs were presented for appraisal from experts in Longgang District on Thursday. Design No. 2, pictured above, is considered by experts to be new and original in design and unique in outlook. Construction of the Universiade Center is scheduled to begin in August next year.
