Seven journalists from BBC World Service concluded their 11-day trip in Guangdong, in which they were on contact with a real Guangdong & China.

George Arney, from BBC's English Service, "High-rise" is the word he chose to describe Guangdong. "I'm really amazed by the economic development".

When talking about his impression of Guangdong, he said "I was expecting there be more authoritarian in China. I think I have a wrong impression.", "Now I see, it (Guangdong) is a very free society in most ways, in term of day-to-day life you can be free to do whatever you want."

He said it was the local ordinary people that impressed him most and he was surprise that people were talking freely and frankly to him. He also said he would like to come back to Guangdong again as a tourist and talk to more ordinary people.

government was more opened to the foreign reporters. He said this trip is of significance, as to a certain extent, their team has reached their purpose to show the world a real China in multi aspects.

He said Guangdong still leads China in reforming and opening up, and Guangdong is on its way to change its development mode.

The government here endeavored to find ways to solve the problems emerged in the social and economic development, which changed his impression about the government -- who only care about the matters related to the present economic development.

Indu Shekhar Sinha, from BBC Indian Service, is much concern with Guangdong's economy for he wants to

compare the economy of China and India. He visited several industrial towns and enterprises in Guangdong and was impressed by the well development of the Dongguan Dalang's textile industrial town.

In his trip, he found the people in Guangdong are very helpful and friendly, which made him feel like being at home.

and was impressed by Guangdong's cultural relics most.

He said he had "never seen a tomb like Nanyue King's Tomb" in Guangzhou, and he appreciated the province's efforts on unearthing and protecting the cultural relics.

Moreover, he is not only touched by the beauty of the Kaiping Watchtower, in Jiangmen city, but also he is amazed by the efforts that local overseas Chinese make to help their hometown's development.
