The 2010 Asian Games Village will be located in Guangzhou New Town of Panyu district, south Guangzhou, covering 1.2 square kilometers. The project is planed to be completed by the end of 2009.

Every athlete will have at least 15 square meters living space. The service center and worship place will be located in international zone.

Buses and coaches will well connect the Asian Games Village and all the stadiums. For example, 9 bus lines link the Asian Games Village with Huang Village, where the main stadiums locates, and the journey between the two places will be less than 30 minutes.

The distance between news center (where the journalists work and live) and the event headquarter hotel as well as all the main stadiums are no more than 30 kms. According to the design, The News center and broadcasting center will have the capacity to accommodate over 3,000 media.
