According to the provincial natural disaster prevention headquarter, the Typhoon Bilis has claimed 113 lives in Guangdong. Till now, 76 people are still missing. The economic loss is estimated to hit 14.3 billion Yuan.

After the flood caused by Bilis, the provincial government has given 10 million yuan to the disaster-impacted cities for epidemic disease control. Till now, no animal epidemic disease case has been reported.

All walks of lives in the province dig deep into their pocket for the typhoon-impacted people. The charity organizations and the civil affair departments in the province have received 147.7 million yuan and 1 million USD for disaster relief.
