Six Australian Koalas were unveiled to the public last Saturday(July 8th), after their two-month quarantine. This is the first time that Australian Koalas have been displayed to the public on China's mainland.
Guangzhou's Xiangjiang Safari Park estimated visitors of around 10,000, who came mainly to see the koalas. The koala exhibition hall features photos of each koala with detailed descriptions.
Donald Chakas, an American Visitor at the park, said that the koalas looked cute and very comfortable in their new home.
