The national college entrance exam kicked off today (June 7). 520,000 Guangdong high school graduates sat for the exams, the crucial test to decide which college they can attend.
382 venues are opened in Guangdong, 85% of which were installed with cameras to prevent cheating. This year a record 9.5 million high-school graduates are sitting for the two-day tests, each vying for one of only 2.6 million undergraduate places.
