Go dragon boating! - Guangdong - News Brief

The 2006 Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Invitational will be held on the Pearl River reach between Jiefang Bridge and Renmin Bridge this Saturday afternoon (June 3).

A total of 107 dragon boats will take part in the competition and performances including teams from Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and the Philippines. To guarantee a smooth traffic flow in the neighboring area, there won't be a traffic control during the competition. But the contest river-route will be sealed off in advance by Guangzhou Maritime Affairs Bureau.
