Guangdong Governor Huang Huahua yesterday (May 11) said, the cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong and support from Hong Kong compatriots and Federation of Hong Kong Guangdong Community Organizations are the key to Guangdong's development, when he received a delegation of Federation of Hong Kong Guangdong Community Organizations.

Huang expressed his congratulations on the Federation's 10th anniversary. He said the cooperation of Guangdong and Hong Kong will still be an important aspect in the 11th five-year plan. The collaboration in trade and economy, infrastructure, science, education and culture will be further strengthened.

Currently, the Federation has 218 organization members and 1,000 individual members from political circles, financial sectors and the service industry. All the members are originally from 21 cities in Guangdong.
