Guangdong State Tax Bureau yesterday (April 25) announced that Guangdong achieved a state tax revenue of 82.703 billion yuan in the first quarter this year, up 27.6 percent compared with the same period last year.
Statistics show that key industries and private companies' quick growth rates were main attributers. For example, the electronic communication equipment industry contributed state tax revenues of 6.864 billion yuan in the first quarter, up 141.4 percent. Private companies contributed another 5.596 billion yuan, up 36.5 percent.
