Guangdong Governor Huang Huahua said Guangdong's development has a close relationship with cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong and support from Hong Kong's citizens and press, when he received a senior Hong Kong press delegation yesterday morning (April 25).

The visiting delegation consisted of more than 20 news organizations. In response to questions regarding Guangdong's 11th five-year plan and its cooperation with Hong Kong, Huang said that the 11th five-year plan still attaches great importance to the cooperation with Hong Kong. He continued saying that the future of Hong Kong will be to act as the financial and logistic centre while Guangdong will be the world's manufacturing base.
