Eastern Guangdong's Huizhou city exported 1.4 million color TV sets in the first quarter of this year, according to statistics with Huizhou Entry & Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. The total export value reaches 140 million yuan, up 65% over the same period last year, becoming the highest record in Guangdong.
The proportion of High-end TV sets increased to 21%, which shows that the export structure is further optimized. The export price of LCD (Liquefied Crystal Display) TV decreased 28% as a result of the substantial drop in production cost and improvement in technology.
