Baiyun Airport raises 1 billion yuan from the market - Guangdong - News Brief

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport successfully collected 1 billion yuan in funds for the construction of the airport's expansion project by issuing bonds in the market.

The news was announced yesterday (May 10) at a ceremony to celebrate the successful fund-raising organized by Guangdong Airport Management Corporation. 13.7 billion yuan is needed for the construction of Baiyun Airport's key facilities, including a FedEx Asia- Pacific hub. Guangdong Airport Management Corporation is one of the first groups of companies who issued bonds in the Guangzhou market in 2006.
