Li Lianhe (R), Shenzhen's vice chairman of the CPPCC, grants an award to a company representative at a ceremony yesterday. A total of 30 local companies, including Huawei, Foxconn and ZTE, were awarded for their capability of training and attracting innovative talents at the ceremony. The city's talent market, the event's organizer, selected 300 companies from a shortlist of more than 2,000 in October last year. After several rounds of public voting and expert appraisal, 30 companies were chosen to be awarded. The award was the first of its kind in the city.
