Two passenger trains collided in south China's Guangdong Province Tuesday morning, but it is still unclear how many people were injured.
Railway authorities in the provincial capital Guangzhou said noone was killed or seriously injured in the accident, which was reported at 9:30 a.m. in Longchuan county on the railway linking the cities of Guangzhou, Meizhou and Shantou.
Rescue work is going on and the railway authorities is yet to pinpoint the cause of the accident.
The railway is operated by Guangzhou Railway Group.
