Guangzhou Gas Hotline extended its operator service hour to 24 hours as of yesterday (Mar 28th). Gas users can dial 83962222 at any time to consult the company's business representatives regarding gas concerns. The move is meant to solve gas related problems in a more efficient way.

Ms. Zhang at the company's customer service center introduced that the center conducted a one-month trial of the 24-hour operation service before its official launch; the center received over 20 phone calls on average every night. Guangzhou's gas hotline was launched in July 2001.

The previous operator service schedule began at 7 a.m. and lasted until 10 p.m., leaving rest of coming calls for automatic voice service.
