Southern Airlines will provide flight food booking service starting May 1st. Passengers can dial 95033 to book exclusively-made food for their trips. For those who have special diets, they can order a variety of different foods including Islamic food, baby food and specially prepared food for diabetics.

Southern Airlines Associate General Manager Ren Jidong said that the company is considering presenting a birthday cake for passengers taking flight from Guangzhou on their birthday.

In addition, Southern Airlines yesterday (Mar 21nd) held the first flight food competition that was meant to promote improvement in the food quality. 17 flight food makers from around the nation competed against each other.

Passengers can enjoy some of the food while taking Southern Airlines flights beginning next month. The company will also organize a food festival on their flights during the May 1st golden week.
