The CPPCC Guangzhou Committee opens today - Guangdong - News Brief

The 4th session of the 10th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Guangzhou Committee opened today (March 21, 2006) in Guangzhou. The conference will examine and discuss the Guangzhou government work report and the guideline for the 11th Five Year Plan.

Guangzhou government leaders will have meetings with CPPCC members from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions and other delegates respectively. The conference will last 6 days and conclude on March 26th.
