Top ten consumer complaints announced - Guangdong - News Brief

Yesterday (March 15) marked World Consumer Rights Day. The Guangzhou Consumer Council announced the top 10 sectors that received the most amounts of complaints in 2005.

They were; real estate, postal money orders, meals on package tours, daily products, IT, household appliances and maintenance, telecommunications, medical services, beauty treatments and transportation services.

Last year, for the first time, transportation services entered the top ten list and cases involving real estate saw a substantial increase of 80%.
